Raffle Winners

April 4, 2008 by sharon

Congratulations to the three winners who won Earthtones Photography gift cards in the Lowell High School freshman’s benefit raffle. Call me to make an appointment for your photo session. Both phone numbers on your gift card will reach me, but the 481 number is the one that reaches me the quickest. My normal phone/business hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Saturday. That doesn’t include session time, since I book sessions by appointment only and like to be available for sunrise and sunset light. I am an ‘on location’ photographer so my assistant, Patrick, and I will be happy to meet you at your home or another spot you might have in mind for your session. If you aren’t sure where you’d like the session to take place I can offer some suggestions. I know some of you will prefer an outdoor session and might want to wait for the warmer spring weather. Still, you’ll want to get your appointment in my book in order to reserve your date. I make appointments on a first come, first serve basis.

Don’t hesitate to write or call me with any questions. sharon@earthtonescustomphotos.com

Raffle Prize and Gift Cards

March 27, 2008 by sharon

Lowell High School freshman are running a raffle for Mel Trotter Ministries camp for inner city youth. The drawing is April 1, 2008 and the grand prize is a car, but better yet, (ha ha), Earthtones Photography is giving away three photo sessions and packages as prizes in the raffle. Below is the front and rear of the “voucher” the prize winners will receive. It’s a great prize even if it’s not a car.

I’m also offering one of these gift cards to any of my customers who successfully refer three new clients to Earthtones Photography. The rules are: The three clients you refer must purchase a package minimum of $100 each. There is no time limit to win a gift card at the moment.

There is a time limit on the $40 session fee special I’m running for anyone in April and the $30 Senior session fee for graduating Seniors and 2009 Seniors during April and May. (See my previous blog post). Don’t wait to long to book your appointment. The available session times are limited. Weekdays and weekends are available. Visit www.earthtonescustomphotos.com or write me at sharon@earthtonescustomphotos.com for more details or if you have any questions.

Debut Celebration/Photo Session Discount

March 19, 2008 by sharon

The Earthtones Photography website is finally live. It’s a bit generic right now and needs some TLC but I’m still thrilled to be live. You can check it out here: www.earthtonescustomphotos.com

We are an ‘on location’ service. My husband/assistant, Patrick, and I will happily go to your home or any other location of your choice in the West Michigan area.

Having that site up makes me feel like celebrating so I’m knocking down the price of my session fee until the end of April. For a $40 fee you can have a photo session of up to two hours. That’s a savings of $10. Minimum package purchase of $100 applies.

Until the end of May, graduating Seniors can have a $30 session fee up to two hours with a minimum package purchase of $200. This special is for anyone who is late getting their 2008 Senior photos and also for the 2009 Seniors. It’s a great deal so hurry and book your appointment before they’re all filled.

I’m looking for 2009 Senior reps in the West Michigan area. I’m seeking outgoing, friendly Seniors that get along well with their peers. As a Senior rep you will get a free session, free 411 cards with your Face Book or My Space link printed on them if you choose, and more. Visit the website and use the contact form to have more Senior rep and pricing details e-mailed to you. If you are a Senior or a parent of a Senior inquiring about being a Senior rep please type “Senior Rep” somewhere in your message. Anywhere is okay.

Beginnings

February 1, 2008 by sharon

Breaking into wedding photography will be exciting. I know weddings are a LOT of stress and work, but from shooting just one wedding I found that photographers get caught up in the happiness of the day, too. I swear I spent most of this day with a big smile on my face.

Here’s an off shoot of the bride planting a sisterly kiss on her brothers cheek. Below are the two lucky guys in her life.

Ever had a Jones?

Have you ever tasted Jones Soda? yummm…

One of my daughters sent this photo I shot of her to Jones and they sent this label back to her. She looks good on the Jones label, I think.
